SYNOPSIS

ALEXIS, one of the most powerful venture capitalists in tech, has attained phenomenal success in everything but one - becoming a mother - and she is certain EITHAN is her answer. Eithan is a charismatic tech entrepreneur who struggles to sustain his Silicon Valley start-up and is increasingly desperate for funds. His fiancée NICOLETTE is an ambitious journalist consumed with her investigation of a sex-trafficking ring that she suspects has some political underpinnings. Under pressure to back up her allegations with substantial evidence, Nicolette gets sidetracked when she learns that Eithan made a bizarre personal commitment to impregnate Alexis in exchange for seed funding. While Eithan scrambles in regret, explaining to his fiancée that the indiscretion was purely transactional, Nicolette must make an urgent choice. Can she forgive him? Or, is she angry enough to weaponize her work dangerously against him? And will Alexis relent in her pursuit, now with the return on her most important investment well within sight?
