Amit has a passion for building businesses and working with energetic and smart people, in business, technology and strategy functions. He helped recruit Temi straight out of college into Xilinx and spent 13 years at the company serving as Director of Vertical Marketing, Director of Business Operations and Senior Director of the Aerospace/Defense & High Performance Computing business. More recently, he served as Vice President of Vertical Markets at MIPS Technologies. He was recently an Entrepreneur-in-Residence with Silicon Valley venture capitalist Foundation Capital, and is now a Partner at Price Waterhouse Cooper's PRTM Management Consulting group. Amit has authored two books, holds two patents, and has two more pending. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, a Master's in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University, and an MBA from University of California at Berkeley's Haas School of Business. ​
